The Identity series comes from an internal dialogue about the various identities we assume throughout the day - and our lives - according to the present situation.

Are our masks our true self, even if for that moment only?

It all started with my own identity crisis as I tried to pursue the traditional corporate career while my true self forced myself into art, which has always been present since I was a little boy. Nevertheless, the wear and tear of this double life began to have its side effects, including on my health, as it was only after a terrible health problem that I began to remove the masks that had actually become a burden.

But even though I am somewhat free now to follow what I have always wanted to do, does this just mean that new identities must be assumed to achieve life's goals?

I guess I will have to find out with every brush stroke.
